How to upload content from your computer

This article describes how to upload learning content from your computer. This content could include PDFs, videos or other documents that are custom to your organisation.

The following steps outline the process:

Go to Library

Click on Add content

Click on Add content

Select "Click to upload" and browse to your file, or simply drag and drop the file from your computer into the box

Next, Enter the title of the learning content

Select a category.

You can type to search or simply click on the dropdown will show the list for browsing.

Enter a description.

This is important for learners to understand the purpose of the learning content and what it contains

This is optional, however it does help to classify learning content and makes it easier to assign to your teams

Enter the content length and length unit.

The length could be minutes, hours, number of lessons or pages. This is useful as it helps learners understand how long a learning will take as well as helps managers and admins track learning hours

Enter the author of the learning content.

If the author is unknown simply enter the name of your Organisation.

Select a Published Date. This is (optional)

Add tags.

Tags are useful as they allow you to add additional categorisation or grouping to learning content. Tags will also help people find this content easier in the library.
