Module Settings
This video explains the full functionality of the Module Settings panel, which allows administrators to customize the appearance, visibility, permissions, and behavior of individual modules on a page. Whether you're aiming to align the module with your design preferences or manage how and when it's seen by users, the settings offer flexible, granular control.
Key Features:
1. Details Tab
Copy Module Link: Generate a direct link to the module for use in buttons, emails, posts, or other modules.
Module Title: Add a title directly above the module without needing an additional heading module. Toggle visibility using the eye icon.
Collapsibility: Enable the module to be collapsible and choose whether it's expanded or collapsed by default.
2. Look and Feel Tab
Module Border: Add a visible border around the module.
Background Color: Set a custom background color for visual distinction.
Header Color: Apply a colored header above the module (with or without a title), either using site-wide appearance settings or a custom selection.
3. Permissions Tab
Viewer and Editor Permissions: Set specific user or team permissions for viewing or editing the module.
Override Page Permissions: Customize module-level access independently from page-wide settings.
4. Publish Tab
Date-Based Visibility: Set start and end dates to control when the module appears on the page. Helpful for time-sensitive content.
5. Spacing Tab
Adjust Padding: Modify the spacing around the module on each side for better alignment and layout consistency.
6. Other Tab
Copy or Mirror Module: Duplicate the module on another page and choose whether the content should stay linked (mirrored) or become independent.
Automated Reminder: Schedule an email reminder for someone to review or update the module by setting a future date and email address.
Benefits:
Improved Page Design
Customize visual elements like borders, spacing, and colors to better match your site’s layout and branding.
Streamlined Content Management
Control module visibility, automate update reminders, and mirror content across pages to save time and maintain consistency.
Enhanced Access Control
Tailor permissions to restrict or allow viewing and editing at the module level, separate from overall page settings.
Flexible Scheduling
Schedule modules to appear or disappear automatically—ideal for seasonal content, campaigns, or events.
