Module Spacing
This help video explains how to use module spacing options to fine-tune the layout of your intranet pages. By adjusting padding and margins, you can create cleaner, more visually balanced designs and better control how modules appear relative to each other.
For those who would like more control over the positioning and spacing for modules, we’ve introduced a set of controls that allow you to set the spacing around and inside of modules.
Key Features:
Accessing Module Spacing Settings
In edit mode, click the gear icon on the module you want to adjust.
Select Settings and Copy Module, then go to the Spacing tab.
Module Padding: Controls the space inside the module’s border, affecting how content is spaced within the module. Use the link icon to adjust padding evenly on top and bottom or left and right.
Module Margin: Adjusts the space outside the module, useful for aligning content or separating it from nearby elements. Similar linking options allow for consistent spacing or fine-grained control.
Real-Time Adjustments: Change values (e.g., 20 pixels of padding) and instantly see the spacing updated between modules on the page.
Benefits:
Cleaner Layouts: Adjust spacing for better visual structure and organization.
Design Flexibility: Customize individual modules without needing advanced design tools.
Improved Readability: Separate content clearly to help users digest information more easily.
Consistency: Align modules more precisely for a polished, professional look.
