Understanding Performance & Growth Reports
Learn how to use Performance & Growth reports to monitor goals, reviews, feedback and meeting activity, identify overdue reviews and export information when needed.
Understanding Reports
Reports gives administrators an organisation-wide view of activity across Performance & Growth.
You can use Reports to understand how goals are progressing, monitor performance reviews, identify overdue activity, review feedback and meeting history, and export information for further analysis or record keeping.
Reports is designed to help you move from simply seeing activity to identifying where action may be required.
Using Quick View Reports
Quick View Reports provides a high-level overview of Performance & Growth activity.
This includes information such as:
- Total goals
- Goals completed
- Average goal progress
- Feedback given
- Average review ratings
- Meetings held
- Reviews completed by employees
- Reviews completed by managers
Use the date range controls to focus the information on the period you want to review.
Quick View is useful when you want an overall picture before moving into more detailed reporting.
Exploring the underlying information
The summary information within Reports can be used to explore the activity behind the numbers.
For example, if goal completion appears lower than expected, you can investigate the underlying goal activity rather than relying only on the headline number.
This helps administrators understand what's driving the result and whether further action is required.
Reviewing goal activity
Goal Activity History provides a chronological view of goal activity.
You can select an employee and date range to review how their goals have changed and progressed over time.
This can be useful when you need a more detailed record of goal activity or want to understand what occurred during a particular period.
Goal Activity History can also be exported as a PDF.
Reviewing meeting activity
Meeting Activity History provides a chronological record of 1:1 and other meeting activity.
Select an employee and date range to review the relevant meeting history.
This can help administrators understand whether regular performance conversations are taking place and provide a record of meeting activity when required.
Meeting Activity History can also be exported as a PDF.
Identifying overdue reviews
Overdue Reviews helps administrators identify performance reviews that have passed their expected deadline.
Employee self-assessments and manager reviews are shown separately, making it easier to understand where the review process has stalled.
For example, an employee may not yet have submitted their self-assessment, or the employee may have completed their part while the manager review remains outstanding.
This distinction helps you follow up with the right person.
Sending review reminders
When reviews become overdue, you can select the relevant reviews and send reminders.
Employee reminders prompt employees who still need to complete their self-assessment.
Manager reminders identify reviews for employees who have selected that person as their manager and where the manager stage still needs to be completed.
This is particularly useful during larger review cycles where manually following up with each person would be difficult.
Viewing all reviews
All Reviews provides a more detailed view of performance reviews across the organisation.
You can see information such as the employee, employee review status and rating, manager, manager review status and rating, and the Review Cycle associated with the assessment.
Search, date and sorting options help you narrow the information to the reviews you need.
This is useful when you want to move beyond overall completion numbers and understand the status of individual reviews.
Exporting review information
Review information can be exported when you need to work with it outside MyHub.
You can export review data to CSV for further analysis.
Completed performance reviews can also be downloaded as PDFs, providing a record of the completed assessments.
Where multiple completed reviews are being downloaded, the PDFs can be packaged together for easier handling.
Reviewing feedback activity
Reports also provides visibility of feedback activity across Performance & Growth.
Use the available filters and sorting options to review the feedback information relevant to your reporting requirements.
Feedback reporting can be exported in CSV or PDF format when you need to retain the information or analyse it elsewhere.
Using Reports during a Review Cycle
Reports becomes particularly useful when a Review Cycle is underway.
For example, after launching an annual review across the organisation, you can use Reports to monitor how many employees have completed their self-assessments and whether managers are completing their reviews.
As deadlines approach, Overdue Reviews helps identify the people who still need to take action.
You can then send reminders directly from the reporting area rather than manually working through the organisation.
The same process can be used for shorter review cycles, such as a 90-day onboarding review or a 30-day performance improvement process.
Using reports to identify trends
Reports isn't only useful for formal review administration.
Regularly reviewing goal progress, feedback activity, meeting activity and review completion can help identify patterns in how Performance & Growth is being used.
For example, you may identify that goals are being created but rarely updated, that 1:1 meetings aren't happening regularly, or that manager reviews are consistently being completed after their deadlines.
These insights can help administrators determine where additional communication, training or follow-up may be useful.
