Picture Rotation (Why are my photos upside down?)
On some occasions, your photos might display upside down when you load them into modules including News, Banner Gallery, Forum or the Document Exchange. The primary cause of this is the way smartphones take photos and then compensates for the phone user taking photos with the phone in different orientations.
Here are three simple steps you can take to resolve this problem:
Step 1. Open the photo on your computer using the default photo image editing software that comes standard on your computer.
Step 2. If the image is not rotated to the correct orientation, rotate the image using the rotate option and then save the image on your computer. Note - we recommend that you save the file as a JPEG (JPG) format as this will help with image optimization. For more information on image optimization, please click here.
Step 3. Upload the saved photo directly into the module or the Document Exchange.
The photo should now display in the correct orientation.
