What size does the Banner Gallery image (photo) need to be?

Photos in the Banner Gallery being cropped, cut off or not fitting correctly? 

The Banner Gallery image or photo should be 1130 x 300 pixels (px), if you do not adjust the image to this size the module will automatically crop and  center  the image this may result in your image not displaying correctly.

It's best to start with a wide landscape image as this will be easier to adjust as smaller portrait images will be stretched and will look distorted.  

Most computers come with basic photo or image editing software, however, you can use software like photoshop or image optimization like this one http://www.imageoptimizer.net/Home.aspx, this will also help reduce the file size of the image as large images can add to the time it takes to load the page.
