Display and Share Files Overview
Display and Share Files allows organisations to make content from MyHub and connected file providers available throughout their intranet without creating duplicate copies. Administrators can surface files directly from their existing repositories while continuing to manage content in its original location.
Supported File Providers
MyHub supports integrations with:
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Microsoft OneDrive
- Google Drive
- Dropbox
Once connected, administrators can access and display content stored within these platforms directly from MyHub.
Add Files Anywhere in MyHub
The Display and Share Files module makes it easy to add content to pages across your intranet. Administrators can:
- Add files from MyHub or connected repositories
- Display files as visual tiles or clickable links
- Embed supported file types directly within MyHub
- Insert files into other modules that support text editing and file insertion
This provides flexibility in how content is presented and accessed by employees.
Maintain a Single Source of Truth
Rather than uploading and managing multiple copies of the same document, files remain in their original location while being surfaced through MyHub. This approach:
- Reduces duplication
- Simplifies document management
- Improves content consistency
- Ensures updates are maintained in a single location
Organisations can continue using their preferred document management platforms while making content easier to discover and access.
Access and Security Controls
Administrators can control how files are accessed by choosing whether content can be:
- Downloaded
- Viewed only
MyHub permissions continue to apply when content is displayed throughout the intranet. Where supported, single sign-on (SSO) can also enforce permissions from connected platforms, helping ensure employees only access content they are authorised to view.
Works with AI Search
Display and Share Files integrates directly with AI Search. When AI Search is enabled, approved content from MyHub and connected file providers can be included in search results, helping employees find information regardless of where it is stored.
